We invite you to join our weekly jam where you can have the opportunity to showcase your skills to your family & friends. Basic Guidelines
- Sign-ups
- First-come first-serve
- Priority sign ups taken in-person during the previous week’s event.
- Other sign-ups open on the Wednesday before via social media
- No-show fill-ins taken in-person prior to event
- Schedule / Timing
- 45 min sets: 5 participants
- 6:30-7:05 pm – Setup & Soundcheck
- 7:15-8 pm
- 8-8:45 pm
- 8:45-9:30 pm
- 9:30-10:15 pm
- 10:15-11 pm
- Equipment
- Stage Deck: Pioneer XDJ-XZ
- Firmware is fully updated, and should support Rekordbox & Serato
- We prefer participants to simply bring a properly prepared USB to perform with. We provide a club-level environment so artists can gain the valuable experience of using the primary tools of the trade.
- Alternate Deck
- Should a participant want to use their own equipment, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
- We just want to ensure that everyone gets their chance to play, and no sets are affected or compromised by accommodating additional equipment. If approved, any additional set-up & break-down would cost a time from a participant’s set. It is highly recommended to just bring a prepared USB.
- Should a participant want to use their own equipment, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
- Laptops
- The DJ deck should be able to accommodate laptops running Rekordbox or Serato.While you are allowed to use a laptop for your performance, please keep in mind that any issues or complications will take away from the participants’ set time. We will do everything we can to ensure simple, seamless transitions between sets, but must ultimately keep to the set schedule.
- Anyone is welcome to arrive early with equipment or a laptop to set up, sound-check, and ensure everything works properly.
- Sound System
- We provide top-quality equipment to truly create an authentic club-like experience so participants can play at much higher levels than normal. We bring the punch, you just bring your swaggy beats.
- We ask that you please treat all equipment with care and professionalism. Our equipment is our life, so please help us protect it. We will have access to master volumes. Redliners are not headliners, please don’t put us in the position to crush your volume.
- Ultimately, all final decisions about sound and/or equipment are the sole discretion of either Besey or Britty ONLY. We WILL provide the maximum levels & volumes possible for all participants.

- Media
- We will be creating a significant amount of media to promote the artists and events before, during and after. We hope to give newer DJs some visibility in the scene, as well as showcase our events/entertainment to the community and our peers.
- We will gladly share any materials we capture and/or create. We have only one requirement/expectation ask: That you please tag us correctly in any posts, stories, or other content.
- Recording
- We offer each participant the choice to record their set or not with our GoPro.
- Again, if you choose to have us provide media, our only requirement is to be tagged properly in any use of the materials. That includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok
- We have a standard format we will provide if needed. We invest a lot of time and effort into putting on this free event for everyone, and what we ask for most in return is your help in growing our audience and visibility in the Tampa/St Pete area! That’s it!
- Marketing
- If selected as a participant for the event, we will ask you to provide a clean, high-resolution copy of your logo or brand. Ideally we ask that you try to provide a PNG file with a clear background.
- We will utilize your marketing materials with our regular promotion (posts, stories, flyers, etc.)
- Additionally, we will try to display your logo over the visualization on the TV in front of the DJ booth. It will add a great deal of professionalism to the recorded media.
